Overview
Mengxue’s practice is devoted to complex commercial litigation, including contract/fraud disputes, product liability, and intellectual property litigation. With respect to her product liability work, she has litigated and advised clients in matters concerning prescription drugs, medical devices, and a wide variety of consumer products. She has represented companies in individual product liability actions, multidistrict litigation, coordinated and consolidated state court proceedings, and putative class actions. Mengxue also litigates extensively in foreign investment, manufacturing, cryptocurrency, transportation and logistics, and real estate.
Moreover, Mengxue has unique expertise in advising Chinese clients and litigating on their behalf. She works closely with Chinese companies on all phases of litigation, from document collection and production to preparation and defending of key witnesses, all in Chinese. Mengxue’s deep understanding of the cultural nuances and challenges faced by Chinese clients allows her to provide the most cost-effective legal representation.
While in law school, Mengxue assisted the prosecution of the individuals responsible for the assassination of Lebanon’s former prime minister while serving as a law clerk with the Special Tribunal for Lebanon located in the Hague, Netherlands.
